FRAME MOUNTING
Screw the two plastic feet into the extension legs and insert them into main frame. Adjust them to give the approximate height and position of the gutter rail.
After having bolted (or riveted) the brackets in place attach the main frame uprights with the 70mm long bolts and ‘nyloc’ nuts. Loosely fasten all fixings so that you can still swing the main frame out to adjust the extension leg. Once the frame has been set firmly against the floor lock-off the fixings.
Finally tighten all the remaining nuts and bolts and check that the rack is completely secure.
SAFETY IS IMPORTANT
Please give due consideration to protecting the occupants of your vehicle from boards being stored at head height. The use of safety netting, a safety brace, head rest or any device designed to protect the occupants in the event of an accident is strongly recommended.
